Road Championship

‍An open competition for all members interested in road racing, especially for new members to build race confidence and their ties with fellow club members.

‍The top male and top female will win a trophy, retained for 12 months, with additional awards for age categories male and female at Senior, V35, V40, V45, V50, V55, V60, V65 and V70.

‍Best three races from nine to include a minimum of: one 5k, one 10k, plus one at any distance. For LV65 and MV70 categories, any two races count.

‍First Clayton Male/Female in each race awarded 50 points; second, 49 points; third, 48 points; etc.

2026 Road Championship Races

For 2026 we have selected races that are local, accessible and affordable. We’ve also included some flat 5k and 10k races, where members can aim for personal bests (PBs). It is not necessary to complete either of the two selected half-marathon races, but points will still be awarded.
